Square Stern Models
MICHICRAFT Canoes are formed out of rugged, durable
aluminum. these canoes are available in light weight models for easy
portage up to heavy weight versions ideal for whitewater usage. All models
are stretch formed out of hardened aircraft aluminum and heat treated for additional
strength. The MICHICRAFT Canoe - So Rugged - It may be the last canoe
that you ever own.
Michicraft Model L-12 Square Stern Canoe

Square Stern Canoes
The Michicraft Square Stern Canoes come in two
models. Model L-12 is a standard duty
aluminum canoe with 0.040 hull thickness. The L-12 has a unique 42"
beam. The T-16 Michicraft Square Stern Canoe is a livery grade
aluminum canoe with 0.050 hull thickness, and has stretch formed sponsons on the sides above
the water line. These "safety foils" effectively give the canoe
a wider profile for extra stability while keeping the streamlined profile
during normal paddling. The inside of all Square End Canoes are painted with
a non-skid paint
