aluminum. these canoes are available in light weight models for easy
portage up to heavy weight versions ideal for whitewater usage. All models
are stretch formed out of hardened aircraft aluminum and heat treated for additional
strength. The MICHICRAFT Canoe - So Rugged - It may be the last canoe
that you ever own.

Model
L Series Michicraft Double Ended Canoes
The Michicraft L Model Canoe is a standard duty
aluminum canoe with 0.040 hull thickness. The L-13 has a unique 42"
beam. The L-15 and L-17 have stretch formed sponsons on the sides above
the water line. These "safety foils" effectively give the canoe
a wider profile for extra stability while keeping the streamlined profile
during normal paddling. The inside of all L Model Canoes are painted with
a non-skid paint

T Series Michicraft Double Ended Canoes
The Michicraft T Model Canoe is a livery
grade aluminum canoe with 0.050 hull thickness. The T series canoe is most
often used by rental operators and camps. The T-15 and T-17 have stretch
formed sponsons on the sides above the water line. These "safety
foils" effectively give the canoe a wider profile for extra stability while
keeping the streamlined profile during normal paddling. The inside
of T Model Canoes are unpainted.

heavy duty aluminum canoe with 0.060 hull thickness. B Model canoes are
built without ribs, to endure whitewater punishment. These models are typically
used by whitewater livery operators. The inside of B Model Canoes are
unpainted.
