Gunwale Clamp Detail
Two quick release knobs attach the cross bar to the
boat's gunwales as pictured. Gunwale lip should be at least
3/4" for maximum secure attachment.
Boats without gunwale lips can be attached with
optional bolt on gunwale clamps brackets

Kayak Sail Rig
Sail Kit for Open Cockpit ( 65"
plus) Kayaks
Similar to Canoe Rig, but instead of rudder unit with
steering oar, it uses your Kayak's rudder and includes the optional
Stabilizer Floats. Kayak sail rig has only one cross bar across cockpit so it
takes up only minimal room . The leeboards are set back from the the single
cross member by 24" arms. Your Kayak must have an open cockpit of at least
65" long and it's own steering rudder. Folds to 45".
Boom, Spar & Mast are sectional and held together internally by a shock
cord. You can fold up the entire rig for storage in or out of the
boat. If you don't have room on the kayak to store the rig,
you can leave the mast up, wrap the sail on the boom and hoist above your head.
